Eligibility Criteria For MBA in Japan

The requirements for getting MBA in Japan vary greatly based on the course and the university’s program objectives and attitude. In general, a strong college degree is required, and a few years of industry experience in relevant domains is strongly preferred. It’s worth noting that Executive MBAs are often geared for individuals who are currently employed. GRE/GMAT/IELTS/TOEFL scores, official transcripts, Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Letters of Recommendation (LOR), resume or CV, Degree, and Transcripts, and other documents are also required.

 

Intakes and Deadlines for MBA in Japan

Japanese universities are quite unique in their application intakes and deadlines.

For universities with two intakes, the application deadline for the spring intake is in November and the application deadline for the autumn intake is in April. Whereas for universities with three intakes, the application deadline for the spring intake is in October/November, the autumn intake is in June/July and the application deadline for summer intake is in February/April.

 

Types of MBA in Japan
