Why Singapore?
Singapore has emerged as one of the most developed countries in Asia and is home to ~7,000 global companies. As per 2015 Deloitte rankings, Singapore is the 6th largest wealth management centre in the world. It also offers a very sophisticated and high standard of living.

Prerequisites for Enrolment:
These criteria differ for every program and university:
• An undergraduate/bachelor’s degree from a well-recognized, accredited university is a prerequisite.
• Many programs also require candidates to have professional experience of at least two years.
• Applicants need to submit recommendation letters, a statement of purpose/cover letter, essays and a detailed resume.
• Some Business and Management programs require The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). A good GMAT score is a prerequisite to gain admission to a high-ranking B­school in Singapore.

Cost and Expenses:
The standard of living is quite high in Singapore, but students do get concessions and on average a student would need SGD 1,500­2,000 per month for living expenses. Tuition fees range between SGD 55,000­60,000.

What are the English Language Requirements?
A language test is only required if English was not the medium of instruction for an applicant’s undergraduate studies. In such cases, both IELTS and Toefl­ iBT scores are accepted.

Visa Requirements:
The student visa application process is very easy and can be completed online. The following documents need to be submitted:
• Completed application form along with a resume
• A valid passport and birth certificate
• Transcripts, academic documents and employment certificates (if applicable)
• Financial documents, showcasing funds to cover the academic and living expenses for one year

Work Permit:
Candidates enrolled in National Universities and Polytechnic can work 16 hour per week (part­time). However, students enrolled in private universities are not entitled to work. The duration students are permitted to remain in Singapore post­MBA to search for jobs can range from a few months up to a period of one year.

What are Prospective Career Opportunities?
• Graduates from high-ranking universities are often recruited by the consulting industry, financial services, and service and IT companies.
• Post­MBA, a high percentage of students are recruited by McKinsey, Bain and BCG.
• After completing an MBA from NUS in specializations such as Finance, Strategy and Healthcare Management, students can opt to participate in exchange programs with top universities in Asia and Europe.

The Duration of the Course:
Most MBA programs are 12 months in length. However, the NUS MBA ranges from 12­ 17 months.

What are the Deadlines?
NUS and NTU offer fall intake and the application deadline is between October­January. SMU offers spring intake and the application deadline is from July­August .
