BEFORE REGISTRATION

It will be a good idea to go through a registration checklist on the various policies and procedures, available services and registration options.

  1. Online Registration : Create an ETS Account to register
  2. Phone Registration : Call the Regional Registration Center to register. The RRC in India is located at:

CREATION OF ETS ACCOUNT

The first step towards the registration for GRE is the creation of the ETS account.

Go to: www.ets.org/mygre to create an account.

This account could be used for multiple purposes such as viewing scores, buying prep materials, and ordering additional score reports. You can watch the following video by ETS on creating an ETS account:

ID REQUIREMENTS

For Indians taking the test either within the country or outside the country, the only acceptable form of ID is a valid Passport. Though Passport details are not required for GRE registration, it is good to have the passport in hand while registering for GRE. The names and date of birth entered should match with Passport. Any mismatch in First Name, Surname or Date of Birth would lead to disqualification for the test on the test day.

TEST CENTERS AND DATES AVAILABILITY

GRE test centers are available in major cities. You can select the test center, date, and time according to your convenience subject to availability. Check for the availability here:
