Registering for the test
The TOEFL internet-based test (iBT) can be taken at any of the ETS* authorized test centers located in any of the 43 cities across India.
Before registering for the test, please check the availability of the test center on the date of your choice. Also check the amount to be paid, as it is subject to change without prior notice.

The TOEFL test has now become shorter. Given below is a screenshot of the sections in the new test which will be effective since August 2019.

- The question patterns remain unchanged.
- If Reading has maximum passages, one of them would be research-based. On the contrary, if Reading has minimum passages, one lecture and one conversation from Listening would be research-based.
