How to register for the ACT

ACT Quick Facts

Some  ACT quick facts to keep in mind

  • In India, the ACT is held in the months of September, October, February, December, April, and June although the exact number of administrations may vary from year to year and from city to city
  • ACT registrations close about 4 weeks before the respective date of the exam

HOW TO REGISTER?

  • Set up a student account and register online. Students outside US & Canada must create a free ACT Web account. After this, a student can complete the registration.
  • You have the option to find out if your preferred test center has seat availability on a particular date.
  •  International students can log on to https://www.actstudent.org/regist/outside/
  • If you miss the registration deadline, you may request standby testing.
  • Payment can be made by a valid credit card.

TEST FEES

  • ACT  -  $79.50 (for International students inclusive of International Fee of $40) 
    • This includes the reports for you, your high school and a choice of up to four colleges
  • ACT Plus Writing - $96.50 (for International students inclusive of International Fee of $40)
    • This includes the reports for you, your high school and a choice of up to four colleges
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise noted.
  • The additional $17.00 for the writing test, is refundable,  if
    • You provide a written request
    • Absent yourself on test day
    • Switch over to the no writing test before it commences.
