Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi has started accepting SAT Admission Test Scores for Admission to the IPM-Integrated BBA+MBA Program. Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi, has simplified the admissions process open and convenient for students.
SAT is a standardized test established by the College Board to evaluate students applying for admission to leading universities in the United States, Canada, Australia, India, and other countries. It consists of two parts – math and integrated evidence-based reading and writing. College Board – an American non-profit organization is the owner and administrator of the SAT. The optional essay section is graded separately. Students can appear multiple times for the SAT exam. SAT exam is held in more than 70 cities and 73 test centers in India. Of course, in the “Select a Country or Region” option, you will need to choose India. The purpose of the test is to measure the student’s college readiness. SAT is conducted five times in a calendar year. It is usually held in March, May, August, October, and December. All applicants will need to send IIM Ranchi their official SAT scores through their College Board account. While you take the SAT test, you will have the option of directly sending the scores to IIM Ranchi for free. You will have to give the SAT code. The SAT code for the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi is 9109.
Applicants are required to pass the 10th Standard/Secondary/SSC Examination and the 12th Standard/Higher Secondary/HSC Examination (or equivalent) with 60 percent (55 percent for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or more marks. The percentage of the marks obtained by the applicant in the 10th and 12th standards will be determined on the basis of the regulations of the Board. If there is no such regulation on aggregate marks by the Board concerned, the aggregate marks of all subjects appearing on the grade sheet shall be considered for the calculation of the passing percentage. There will be no age limit for applicants.
Indian Nationals and PIO/OCI Card Holders are eligible to apply for the program.
Admission to IPM 2021 will be based on SAT/IPMAT 2021/JIPMAT 2021 exam results, writing skills test, personal interviews, and overall academic performance at secondary and higher secondary levels. Applicants choosing to appear for multiple tests (SAT/IPMAT 2021/JIPMAT 2021) will be evaluated for shortlisting on the basis of their best results among the tests for which they appeared.
SAT offers discounted exam fees based on family income. If your annual family income is less than INR 8 lakhs, you would be entitled to receive a SAT discount voucher and receive a 90 percent reduction. If your family income is more than 8 lakhs but less than 15 lakhs per year, you are entitled to receive a 50% reduction.
