IB Middle Year Programme (MYP) Syllabus
The International Baccalaureate (IB), formerly known as the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), is a non-profit organisation created in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland. IB course is an internationally recognised advanced school program. It is taught in over 140 countries in English, French, and Spanish.
The IB Program includes the IB Primary Years Programme for children aged 3 to 12, IB Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 to 16 and IB Diploma for students aged 15 to 19. The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a global educational programme for students aged 11 to 16 years old. It is part of the International Baccalaureate. The IB Middle Year Program is designed to prepare students for the IB Diploma Program, which lasts two years. Students should indeed receive instruction in all eight subject categories during the Middle Year Programme: Language Acquisition, Language and Literature, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Physical and Health Education, and Design.
