The Bachelor of Science in Financial Management (FM) major provides a business degree with a focus on professional financial services practice. The curriculum is designed to prepare students to take the first level of the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) exams that lead to the CFA professional designation for finance and investment professionals.

This major is only open to students at the Stamford Campus. financial Management majors are required to achieve a cumulative 2.0-grade point average for the total of all Finance (FNCE) courses for which they have been registered at the University of Connecticut, excluding grades and credits for independent studies and field study internships.

UConn has a series of renewable merit scholarships for high school seniors with a record of high academic achievement and leadership. Students participating in the Guaranteed Admission Program also have a unique opportunity available through the President-to-President Scholarship.
