Students may make this substantial community smaller by participating in a club or association, or by living with their peers on a regular basis in one of their Learning Communities. UConn has a lot of popular, healthy, and free activities right here on campus.

With a movie theatre, game room, TV lounges, and a food court, the Student Union has it all. Adjacent To this, dozens of open mics, plays, and performances provide a much-deserved break. UConn grows beyond just the Storrs campus. With four regional campuses around the state, access to UConn is readily available throughout Connecticut. Small classes, access to talented faculty, and unique internships and majors allows student irregular openings while still providing the benefit of a UConn education. A quick drive away, UConn's Depot Campus is home to the Center for Renewable Energy Engineering, Human Resources, the Community School of Arts and Chaplin Cottage. UConn has a series of renewable merit scholarships for high school seniors with a record of high academic achievement and leadership. Students participating in the Guaranteed Admission Program also have a unique opportunity available through the President-to-President Scholarship.
