The Data Science MSc provides advanced technical and practical skills in the collection, collation, curation and analysis of data. This is an ideal study pathway for graduates with a background in quantitative subjects, or who possess relevant work experience, who want to gain experience in current methods and techniques of data science. The Data Science MSc degree will provide you with the practical skills needed to assemble collate store, manage and analyse data efficiently. You will also gain the skills necessary to select the appropriate statistical and computational data modelling and analysis techniques to evaluate data science activities and projects. You will complete the course in one year, studying September to September and taking a combination of required and optional modules totalling 180 credits, including 60 credits that will come from an individual project
