King's College London

King's College London was established in 1829 by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington. When the University of London was founded in 1836, King's was one of its two founding colleges. Though still part of the University of London, King's has enjoyed financial and academic autonomy since 1994. King's has been awarded his own degree since 2008. The College has a distinguished reputation in the fields of humanities, law, science, including health, such as psychology, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, and social sciences, including international relations.
