The major in general business equips students with a thorough understanding of theory and practice in the fundamental areas of business such as accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing. This major is intended for business students who wish to gain breadth within their undergraduate studies. Students will develop the skills and competencies necessary for success across a diverse spectrum of business organizations.

Drexel provides merit-based, undergraduate scholarships to candidates of diverse connections. Most scholarships are awarded as students start enrolling as Drexel students on a full-time basis. Applicants for the first year and transfer (students qualifying for a second bachelor's degree are not eligible); only domestic and foreign applicants are eligible to apply. The amount of the grant for a merit scholarship varies and is determined on the basis of a review of the student's qualifications by the Admissions Committee.
