The Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) Program at the Foster School of Business prepares accounting professionals with quality education, strong ethics, innovative thinking, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Focused coursework in data analytics provides the edge you need to bring big data techniques into your career in financial statement auditing.
Our MPAcc program also includes an interactive class with industry professionals at Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Amazon, Costco, Microsoft, Tableau. From late September through early June, students take classes that prepare them for the opportunities, challenges, and experiences of work in the accounting profession and satisfy the additional credits required to sit for the CPA exam in the State of Washington.
Designed with the increasing importance of data-driven analysis in mind, the Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) curriculum focuses on creating audit and assurance insight through the use of modern data analytic tools. Course content typically introduces important real-world audit and assurance problems and focuses on communicating their data-driven solutions.
