The University of Arizona is offering a number of scholarship and financial support programs to international students. International Freshman Scholarship Award, this scholarship is part of the International Tuition Award at the University of Arizona. Merit-based scholarships are awarded to a limited number of international students who enroll in one of the undergraduate programs offered by the university. Only freshmen are eligible to apply. The ranking of students in the SAT, ACT, and English proficiency exams shall be taken into account when determining merit. The value of the scholarship ranges from $12,000 to $35,000 a year which is renewable for the next four years. International Transfer Scholarship Award, this program offers merit-based scholarships to foreign transfer students who wish to pursue their studies at the University of Arizona, with GPA students between 3.5 and 4.0 considered suitable for this program. A set amount of $5,000 is given to students per year, this scholarship is renewable for the next two years only. The university also offers other types of scholarships, The Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship, Society of Women Engineers, and there are some graduate scholarships also, Graduate Tuition Scholarship, RC Waiver Program, etc.
