The New School

The New School is a progressive university to house a world-renowned design school, a leading liberal arts college, a renowned performing arts college, a legendary social research school, and courses designed for students of every age and phase of life. It presents some of the nation's most well esteemed degrees, certificates, and continuing education curriculum in art and design, social sciences, liberal arts, management, public policy, and performing arts.

Since 1919, the university’s campus has been home to innovative thought leaders, change-making social activists, and ground-breaking artists. The New School is an enlightened university with its main campus located in the center of New York City's Greenwich Village.

The New School offers Merit-based scholarships to new students, Maintaining scholarships to continuing students, and Need-based scholarships. Merit-based scholarships are awarded as part of the admissions process and are based on the strength of your application. Scholarships are renewed from year to year, as long as recipients progress toward completion of their degree and meet the requirements of enrollment and academics from their departments. Need-based scholarships may be available to some undergraduate students who submit the FAFSA and are eligible. These scholarships are generally renewable as long as recipients progress toward their degree, maintain enrollment requirements, and submit the FAFSA each year.
