The Academy brings together complementary undergraduate success resources within academic divisions to deliver excellent edifying programs, state-of-the-art technology, and integrated services and teaching that strive to blend schooling with the resources that enhance it seamlessly.
Situated in the north Peninsula just south of San Francisco, Skyline College is positioned on a 111-acre bluff with sweeping sights of the Pacific Ocean. The college is easily reachable from Highways 280 and 380 and a short drive from Highways 101 and 92. San Francisco International Airport is less than seven miles from the college and hotels are readily available.
Each year, three colleges in the San Mateo County Community College District (SMCCCD)—Cañada College, San Mateo College, and Skyline College—promote institutional scholarships to new, continuing and transfer students. Awards are based on academic achievement, financial need or personal interests such as clubs, athletes, and service. Funding for our scholarships comes from donations to the San Mateo County Community Colleges Fund, which ensure that quality, accessible higher education is available to any member of our community.
