Saint Francis University is one of the oldest Catholic colleges in the country, and the oldest commemorating Franciscan values. Its picturesque campus sits on a mountain top in Loretto, Pennsylvania, nearby Pittsburgh. St. Francis University has a cumulative undergraduate enrolment of 1,649, with a gender breakdown of 35 per cent male and 65 per cent female students. At this school, 86 per cent of students live in university-owned,-operated or-affiliated accommodation, and 13 per cent of students live off campus. In athletics, the University of St. Francis is member of NCAA I.

Saint Francis University offers merit-based scholarships that depend entirely on academic performance.International Scholarships are only available to students seeking their first baccalaureate degree. The scholarships are renewable each year as long as the student remains in good standing with Saint Francis University and maintains a 3.0 QPA.
