Students at MiraCosta College can choose from six separate academic and career paths (ACPs). These ACPs offer students the ability to narrow their options and choose the major that best suits their academic interests. Company and Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Languages, Communications and Humanities, Creative and Applied Arts, Health Sciences, Mathematics and Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences are the ACPs offered by the college.
The college boasts of cultural and ethnic diversity with students of varied backgrounds and age groups. In MiraCosta College, students with a combined 2.0 or higher Grade Point Average (GPA) in the fall, is entitled for the annual MiraCosta Scholarship.
