Humboldt State University

Humboldt State University is a public institution and part of the 23-campus California State University system and is one of the nation's strongest higher education values. The university has about 7,000 students and 534 faculty members and offers a wide variety of academic options, with 51 majors and 12 graduate programs in three schools. The faculty members are among the top teachers and researchers in their field. Natural resources and science programs are nationally recognized, while visual and performing arts are also common fields of study.
