With a focus on additive manufacturing, the Advanced Manufacturing program at Mines provides students with the opportunities to work with a variety of equipment, systems and materials, and develop the skills to capture and interpret important process data.

The Florence Caldwell Achievement Scholarship Program awards are sponsored by Mines, and awarded to three incoming first-year students at Mines each year. U.S. citizens or permanent residents students are considered for Mines scholarships. Students are required to pass a minimum of 24 credits each academic year (fall plus spring semesters) with a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA to avail scholarships.
