Our unique transdisciplinary curriculum integrates the perspectives and ideas of other departmental programs as well, including Environmental Science and Policy, Geographic Information Sciences for Development and Environment, and International Development and Social Change. Accelerated degree options earn a master's degree in 12 to 15 months. Two other degree tracks are available to earn your degree in 12 to 24 months.

There are several different merits- and achievement-based scholarships at Clark University. For these scholarships, each Clark applicant will be considered. Admitted students who have excelled in high school and whose academic performance and personal qualities indicate that when they enroll at the university, they will perform at the highest level will be given top consideration for these awards. Decisions on which scholarship will be awarded to an admitted student, if any, are based on academic qualifications, not on family needs, as indicated in their application for admission, Approximately 60% of students receive merit-based awards at Clark University. Through a combination of grants, loans and work-study, students whose financial need is greater than the amount of the scholarship can be eligible for additional assistance.
