California State University, Los Angeles

California State University, Los Angeles, established in 1947 by the California State Legislature, is a comprehensive university providing higher education programs in a range of academic and technical fields. The six colleges of the University, along with the Honors College and the College of Technical and Global Education, offer more than 60 undergraduate schools, divisions, and departments that attract students from all parts of the world and the United States.

Around one-fifth of the campus, more than 27,000 students are engaged in post-baccalaureate studies in programs leading to master's and doctoral degrees, teaching, service and technical qualifications, certificates, and programs leading to career and academic advancement. CSU's campus life is pleasant and lively. California State LA is home to over 150 student groups serving a range of student interests and organizing hundreds of activities each year.
