The Department of Business Management, through its committed academic faculty, industry experts, and dedicated staff, provides students with the knowledge and skills in business management necessary to: succeed in a wide range of professional careers in management, human resource management, operations management, business analytics, marketing, and international business in small and large companies as well as in non-for-profit organizations, successfully start and develop a company or a non-for-profit organization, or be prepared for further education.
Undergraduate students may pursue either a bachelor of science in business management or a bachelor of business administration within Brooklyn College's tradition of academic excellence in the liberal arts and sciences. The B.S. degree is general and allows students to choose a double major, such as business and accounting, or to select a minor in business law, corporate social responsibility, marketing, organizational behavior, and small business management and urban entrepreneurship.
