Brooklyn College is an essential part of New York's civic, urban, and creative energy and uses the city as a living classroom that broadens our students' awareness of the world around them. For more than 85 years, the college has attracted a wide range of inspired students.

The College offers 175 degrees, graduate degrees, certificates, and advanced certificates and diploma programs in the fields of business, education, humanities, and social sciences, natural and behavioral sciences, visual media, and performing arts. Brooklyn College professors are award winners and beneficiaries of national grants from organizations such as NASA, the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and the Ministry of Education. College student life is active, multicultural, and multi-faceted.
