Brooklyn College

Brooklyn College is an essential part of New York's civic, urban, and creative energy and uses the city as a living classroom that broadens our students' awareness of the world around them. For more than 85 years, the college has attracted a wide range of inspired students.

The College offers 175 degrees, graduate degrees, certificates, and advanced certificates and diploma programs in the fields of business, education, humanities, and social sciences, natural and behavioral sciences, visual media, and performing arts. Brooklyn College professors are award winners and beneficiaries of national grants from organizations such as NASA, the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and the Ministry of Education. College student life is active, multicultural, and multi-faceted.

Intramural sports are common, and college-winning basketball, cheerleading, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, and volleyball teams compete at Division III level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Brooklyn College has always been supposed to be stunning, starting from the beginning of the 1930s. It remained one of the most beautiful in the metropolitan area of New York. There are still lily ponds, gardens, and elm trees, and the four original buildings are constantly being updated to reflect the growing needs of the campus population.
