Berkeley College is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC). The Foreign Club, the United Nations Club, the Desi Club, the Hispanic Club, the Turkish Club, the Chinese Student Association, the Korean Student Association, and the Japanese Student Association are all groups open to students.
Berkeley College provides a variety of activities that encourage students to socialize with other students in order to build friendships and grow professional networks. Some of its events include cultural dinners, an international student cruise, a United Nations tour, a tour of Wall Street, and a design museum tour. The Career Services Department supports students in finding full-time or part-time jobs and volunteer opportunities. Career counsellors are also available in each major to help students resume writing and interview coaching, planning, scheduling, and digital identity. Berkeley College hosts job fairs and campus orientation days all year round.
Berkeley College is offering a number of grants and scholarships. With the exception of international and need-based grants, Berkeley College grants and scholarship awards are determined after all federal grants, state grants and state scholarships have been applied, not to exceed the remaining tuition amount. Students interested in applying for federal grants, state grants, and state Scholarships must complete their applications within the required timeframes.
