The 12-hour Undergraduate Certificate in Animation Studies, by combining practice-based and lecture courses, provides students with an understanding of animation, a discipline and practice that integrates music, visual arts, and acting, with moving image technology. Courses generally can be taken in any order as long as any necessary prerequisites have been met. VPA 4300 - Capstone for Animation Studies is recommended to be taken last.
