University of Aberdeen

Established in 1495, the University of Aberdeen is the UK's fifth oldest university. Within six months of graduating, 96% of graduates go on to find jobs at the Scottish University of the Year 2019. Five Nobel Prizes in medicine, nutrition, chemistry, and physics have been awarded, with further ground-breaking research and invention continuing to this day. The Olympic-standard Aberdeen Sports Village and an Aquatic Centre are one of the facilities.

There are four libraries with over one million books and special collections, including the university's largest GBP 57 million Sir Duncan Rice Library. Aberdeen is one of the most accessible student cities in the UK. Rich in culture and history, and surrounded by beautiful countryside and coastlines, outside the classroom, there is plenty for students to do and see.
