We designed the Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) with budding scientists in mind. It’s for students who want to pursue postgraduate study. By taking a conjoint with the Bachelor of Music, you can combine your scientific specialization with your choice of five Music specializations. For example, you could combine Mathematics with Composition, or Computer Science with Music Studies .Pushing scientific boundaries requires creative and independent thinking both of which are fostered by your musical studies while the discipline and practice of music complements the acute focus necessary for successful scientific research.In your final year, you will complete an independent scientific project with the guidance of an academic mentor.
