Media Design School has a wealth of assets, both digital and physical, for students to gain access to throughout their studies. The library is wide open during normal school hours, and it has an extensive eLibrary for when students need to contact academic resources outside of normal campus hours.
It has a broad set of books, magazines, and journals intended to support student's studies and inspire their creative work. With tech-filled areas that cater to the needs of each digital discipline, the Media Design School campus is unlike any other design school in New Zealand. Media Design School is in the heart of Auckland City, close to restaurants, cafes, and shopping but also within easy access to great hiking spots, beautiful beaches, and a range of adventure activities. Auckland, or Tmaki Makaurau, is New Zealand’s most populated city with 1.4 million people currently calling it home. The central city boasts a harbor, museum, art gallery, several concerts and theatre venues, a town hall, and countless public reserves, parks, and recreation areas.
International students are eligible for a variety of scholarships and research prizes. The International Student Scholarship will be extended to your second year of tuition fees at Media Design School and can be worth up to NZ$5,000.
