This MSc is ideal if you have a science background (eg biology, mathematics, chemistry, physics) and want a career in bioengineering. Our comprehensive programme gives you the fundamentals of biomedical engineering as well as the ability to specialise in either imaging and instrumentation, tissue engineering and biomaterials, or biofluids. This programme will build on your existing expertise to give you the experience and skills to follow a successful career in biomedical engineering. You’ll take a compulsory module on engineering methods and learn essential engineering techniques and philosophy. You’ll follow that with a compulsory module on ethics and regulatory affairs. The rest of your programme is determined by the specialism you choose.
