A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E.) degree requires successfully completing 30 approved graduate credits. Both thesis and non-thesis options are available. Students must decide on their M.S.E.E. option by the end of the second semester, at the time of submitting their Plan of Study. Students have the flexibility of selecting their own courses with the approval of his/her advisor. The faculty contact assigned at the time of admission serves as the advisor for the first two semesters or until a permanent advisor is formally selected by the student at the time of submitting the Plan of study. Although available courses and faculty members in ECE are listed in several research concentration areas, the M.S.E.E. degree does not formally define a concentration area or specialization.
