The Centre for Environmental Engineering Research and Education (CEERE) in the Schulich School of Engineering (SSE) has the overall responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of a comprehensive postgraduate program specialization in the interdisciplinary field of environmental engineering. All five engineering departments participate in delivering this SSE-wide environmental engineering specialization. Applications for admission to the Faculty of Graduate Studies should be submitted to the engineering department that best matches the applicant’s undergraduate and/or postgraduate academic training. Note: Students applying to the MEng (course-based) with a specialization in Environmental Engineering must submit their applications to either: a) the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, or b) the Department of Civil Engineering.

Entry requirements for University of Calgary
A minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 point system, over the past two years of full-time study (a minimum of 10 full-course equivalents or 60 units) of the undergraduate degree. Two Reference letters, A four year baccalaureate degree, or equivalent from a recognized institution. At least one year of experience in software development. A background of C/C++. Knowledge of object-oriented design and human-computer interaction. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 point system
TOEFL score of 86 with no section less than 20 (Internet-based). IELTS score of 6.5 with no section less than 6.0 (Academic version)
Toefl 560 (paper-based)
TOEFL Internet based overall score: 86.0
