The Department of Elementary Education offers a variety of options at the Master's and Doctoral levels. We offer both on-campus programs and online instruction in some of our programs, designed to accommodate the lifestyles of working professionals.The M.Ed. in Educational Technology is a graduate degree program for students who wish to take an academic degree but also desire the flexibility of choosing a stream that is most relevant to their teaching practices or educational research interests. This program is a cross-departmental faculty offering. The elementary education stream is for students who are interested in a K - 6 environment and who wish to focus on technology in a classroom integration context.

Entry requirements for University of Alberta
The minimum admission requirements for the MEd are a four-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized academic institution and a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 for most 4-point grading systems.TOEFL: minimum score of 580 (paper-based), 237 (computer-based), or a total score of 93 with a score of at least 24 on speaking and writing and 20 on reading and listening (internet-based). IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band score of 7.0, with at least 6.5 on each band.
