This BEng programme equips you with the underlying knowledge and skills you need to become a creative Civil and Structural Engineer, capable of planning, designing and overseeing the construction of sustainable structures and transport infrastructure systems. Civil and Structural Engineering involves the design, construction and maintenance and repair infrastructure such as roads and bridges, buildings, and underground transport systems. You?ll develop a broad knowledge of geotechnical, structural, environmental and management aspects of civil engineering, and gain the computing, mathematical, drawing and communication skills you'll need as an engineer. Entry requirements for University of Bradford
All Official Transcripts. IELTS - 6.0. TOEFL IBT - 80. 112 UCAS points. A levels - To include A-level Maths minimum grade C. BTEC Extended Diploma - DMM. BTEC Nationals Level 3 (from 2016): Must be an Engineering subject – to include ‘Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems’ (Unit 7) and ‘Further Engineering Mathematics’ (Unit 8) at minimum Merit. Applicants on Access Programmes - 112 UCAS tariff points from an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Engineering or Science and Engineering - must include a minimum of 12 credits in Maths at minimum Merit. International Baccalaureate - 112 UCAS tariff points to include HL Maths at grade 5. Plus HL 3 or SL 4 in English Language and Literature A or English B. GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C or 4 (equivalents accepted).
