Architectural engineering students at the University of Miami learn to engineer sustainable, healthy, and structurally resilient buildings of the future. The Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering offers accredited programs leading to BS degrees in Architectural Engineering (BSAE). The program provides a strong background in the fundamentals of mathematics, science, engineering, humanities, social sciences and architectural engineering design. Students are exposed to theory and practice, as well as hands-on laboratory work. The BSAE program is accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET).
