This Certificate of Achievement-Advanced is designed for students planning to transfer to either the University of California (UC) or the California State University (CSU) systems.It offers a program of study that meets the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) requirements. Though completion of lower division General Education is not usually required to transfer, and not recommended for certain majors, most students should make completion of all or most of IGETC a priority, along with completion of their lower-division major coursework.
