LaSalle International's first educational institution opened its doors in 1959. It all started with LaSalle College located in Montreal's LaSalle district. Mr. Jean-Paul Morin was the founder of the College. The mission of this Canadian entrepreneur is to build work opportunities for the citizens of Quebec by providing education that is in line with the demands of the job market. In response to the increasing demand for administrative work at the moment, the College is offering its first secretarial training program.

LaSalle College provides more than 60 programs that respond to students' needs through programs that bridge college-level education and multiple channels .The two-year pre-university programs lead to a DEC and encourage graduates to pursue university studies in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia. Three-year DEC programs are also offered that allow students to learn skills that are directly relevant to the job market. Vocational services shall lead to an AEC or a DEP. These studies prepare students for direct access to the workplace.
