Vancouver has a wide population of artists, designers, and media professionals. It is a highly international city that attracts talented students and professionals from all over the world. The city has strong industrial links in architecture, digital media, film, animation, gaming, and sustainable technology.
At Emily Carr University Incoming students, current students, and graduating students may be eligible for a variety of funding support. Incoming students are eligible for an entrance scholarship, a limited number of entrance scholarships are offered to local and international students also. These scholarships will cover a significant portion of their tuition fees in the first year. Tuition scholarships are awarded to students in the form of a tuition reduction in the fall and spring semesters. At the time of admission, applicants must achieve a minimum overall grade point average of 3.33 in order to be able to qualify for scholarships.
