The College also boasts a state-of-the-art Excellence Aviation Center located at Thunder Bay International Airport. This 59,000 square foot building consists of two large hangers, classrooms, shops, and laboratories for three aviation programs. The main campus of the college is set on 130 acres of park-like and has beautiful tree-lined grounds, a small, winding river, and a network of walking paths. In addition to its main campus in Thunder Bay, the College also has eight regional campuses spread throughout northwestern Ontario, in the communities of Dryden, Fort Frances, Kenora, Geraldton, Marathon, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, and Wawa.
SUCCI, The Student Union of Confederation College Inc. is a student-focused group devoted to activism, entertainment, well-being, careers, education, and student-friendly programs to improve the overall experience of college. SUCCI proudly offers a wide range of programs and events to fulfill a wide range of needs and interests, from social gatherings designed to give you an opportunity to meet new people, hang out with friends and be entertained, to academic, awareness-raising and engaging health and diversity events, and our Campus Recreation Program provides a number of sports, activities and events that will inspire even the non-active individual to participate. A committed team of board members, staff and students from SUCCI are working together to build a fun and diverse activity calendar.
To aid with their tuition expenses, Confederation College provides a variety of financial grants, bursaries and awards to students. Based on financial need, academic achievement or extra-curricular/community participation, these are given out. Student awards, on average, surpass $400,000 per year.
