This concentration prepares students with the necessary skills to help companies successfully expand to, and compete in, international markets. You will learn how to adapt business strategy to the cultural, political, legal, economic, technological, geographic and historical factors that result in buyer behaviour differences around the world. You will also learn how to assess various foreign expansion alternatives that companies face when going abroad.

Carleton University awards tenable scholarships at the University. The scholarship policy aims at recognizing, attracting and providing incentives for excellence. If you have been admitted to Carleton with an average admission rate of 80% or better, at the time of admission, you will automatically be considered for a renewable entry scholarship. If it is not inconsistent with the terms of the award, your tuition fees will first be covered by scholarships administered by Carleton University.
