Located in the center of the campus, the Vaughan Memorial Library offers a wide variety of resources and special collections that support the university's teaching and research programs. Acadia is located in the most important college town in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The 12 buildings in Acadia range from high-rise, heritage, and standard double rooms to deluxe singles in suites. Each residence has a team of resident assistants who develop and maintain a sense of community and work with security personnel to ensure the safety of the campus 24/7. Just a few steps away from campus, students can discover a lush, natural ecosystem that includes the highest tides in the world, vineyards, forest trails, and rich farmlands. In Acadia students are provided with merit-based scholarships for academic and athletic achievements. You may also be eligible for a scholarship based on your involvement in community service, unique hobbies or traits, your personal background, or the employer or military affiliation of a parent. Some students receive enough scholarship money to cover their schooling and living expenses.
