Financial aid is provided to students who have limited or do not have adequate resources to fund their education, thus each semester, the UOWD provides an Academic Merit Scholarship that covers 15 percent to 50 percent of tuition fees and the scholarships are offered to both new and continuing students. Along with scholarships provided on the basis of academic achievement, the university also has scholarships based on athletic achievement.
