In Melbourne, Collarts (Australian College of the Arts) is an independent college of higher education focusing on training students for creative industries. With 30 years of dynamic education experience, Collarts offers industry-based education in fields such as fashion, comedy, music production, interior design, audio engineering, and more. Courses are taught by industry experts who have worked with some of the world’s top music acts and have gained experience in producing and recording award-winning albums.

Members of staff include Academy Award nominees and ARIA award winners, providing students with the expertise and skills they need to break into the creative industries. Collarts has great infrastructure, including recording studios, post-production studios, auditoriums, a library of materials, mac labs, pc labs, and Dolby Atmos, the newest surround sound technology. Students may also obtain work experience in the entertainment and creative industries, including music festivals, radio stations, fashion shows, conferences, and many more.
