Develop the skills to care for those within the aged care, disability, or home and community care sector. This new Certificate III in Individual Support replaces three former Certificate III qualifications in Aged Care, Disability and Home and Community Care (HACC). When you undertake this new qualification you can still choose to specialise in aged care, disability work or health and community care.

Throughout your training, the focus will be on empowering and equipping you with the knowledge and competencies required by HACC workers to deliver individualised person-centred support to people who may require assistance due to ageing, disability or some other reason, both in community or residential based settings. You will be taught how to use discretion and judgement in relation to providing this support and to take ownership of tasks and outcomes.
