How many sections are there in the Digital SAT Exam?

The SAT has two main sections:

How is the Old SAT Syllabus different from the New SAT Syllabus?

The old SAT syllabus and the new Digital SAT syllabus differ from each other in form, length, content, focus and delivery.

The old SAT was a paper-based test that ran for 3-3.5 hours with different Critical Reading, Writing & Language and Math sections with an additional optional essay. The old SAT test had around 150-170 questions.

The new SAT is a fully-digital test that is adaptive and shorter than its predecessor. The new SAT is 2 hours 14 minutes long with two main sections: Reading & Writing, and Math. Each section is split into two adaptive sections that has an adaptable difficult level based on first-module performance.

The new Digital SAT no longer has essays. Students have to take the test on the Bluebook app.
