The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a test administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) which is aimed at professionals applying to graduate business programs. It tests candidates on arithmetic, geometry, algebra, data analysis, and grammar in order to evaluate their ability to critically analyze the given information and reason. Unlike exams such as the LSAT, there is no specific test date for GMAT and hence it can be taken whenever you are ready and have reserved a spot by paying the GMAT exam fee of $250. However, you may not take the test more than once every 16 days and no more than five times in a 12-month period and a total of 8 times.
