Advanced Placement (AP) exams are college level subject specific exams for the high school students. AP exam scores give a chance for the students to get credits and placements by many universities. The exam is conducted by College Board in the month of May.
In this unprecedented and challenging COVID-19 situation where AP exams cannot be conducted in the centers, College Board supports the students who have registered for the May test with an option to take the test at home.
AP exams are scheduled from May 11 through May 22. Make-up test dates will be available for each subject from June 1 through June 5. AP exam at home can be taken on a computer, tablet or Smartphone. College Board had mentioned that they have a comprehensive and strict set of protocols in place to prevent and detect cheating.
College Board is confident that a vast majority of higher education institutions will offer credits based on AP scores like in the past.
