The Princeton Review College Hopes & Worries Survey Report: 2017

Hopes and Worries Survey by The Princeton Review  talks about the anxiety levels of college applicants and their parents planning admissions abroad this year. Out of 76% of the 10,000 respondents reported high-stress levels and 98% of the respondents felt that the financial aid is necessary to pay for college admissions. The survey has been annually conducted by The Princeton Review since 2003. This year too, Stanford was the college that both applicants and parents named as their “Dream” college. Among students, Harvard was the second most and Princeton was second most named among parents. The survey reveals the top “hopes & worries” that students and their families have about college.

Findings for the 2017 survey are based on responses from 10,519 people: 8,499 college applicants and 2,020 parents of college applicants. They came from all 50 states and Washington D.C., plus more than 20 countries abroad.
