It is located in East Lansing, a global city in the center of the state with a population of almost 50,000. The city is well-linked with local transport assets, including Amtrak rail and intercity bus services, both from a campus site near the western side of the campus and from a neighborhood and campus bus service run by the Capital Region Transit Authority.
