We are a supportive community of committed to providing you with a breadth of industry-leading curriculum and real-world experiences that prepare you for a successful career in our complex, global, built environment.Our three-year M.Arch program is designed for students with undergraduate degrees in fields other than architecture or in related environmental design and planning disciplines.
Students begin taking foundation classes in architecture and design during the Fall semester. Previous equivalent course work may be waived when submitted, documented and approved by the Graduate Director. The first year of the three-year M.Arch program requires three semesters of course work, Fall, Spring and Summer, to complete 42 preparatory credit hours.
You will then join our two-year M.Arch program to complete the remaining 57 graduate credit hours.The number of preparatory credit hours required depends on an analysis of an individual's application.Our graduate degree develops a student?s capacity for creative, cumulative and critical thinking, design literacy, and a lifelong cultivation of design. Accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), the program is for students who seek professional licensure.
